It's been a good
while. I just hadn't had any real connection with things I had been reading.
I guess I was kind of failing because I wasn't doing what I said I
was going to but it is just hard for me to pick a random verse. I have to
feel it is speaking to me. This week I finally got one!! Are
you ready????.....You sure?????..... Okay here it is!!!!....
Teach me to do
your will, for you are my God; may your good spirit lead me on level ground.
Psalm 143:10
Do you feel the depth of this verse???? TEACH ME to do Your WILL! for YOU are
MY God; (not the rest of the world.. Have No Other God's Before Me.. You
are first always… sound right?) I know we always say we want to do God's will.
The question today is "How do we do God's will?" We do pray for
God's will to BE done and not ours... but do we ever say "Lord how am I to
do your will... how am I to put myself aside and learn what your will is."
Life is changing every day. I stay at home and I'm so busy just taking care of
my family and my house I feel like I never have time to do much of
anything else. I would like to do some hobbies.. start a business... help
those in need more often.. but I just run out of time.
May your GOOD Spirit lead me on LEVEL GROUND...
Since we so often are walking up and down mountains! How can we learn to
be the new creation we have been made (2 Cor. 5:17).. How can we change
how we live.. is it just watching the way we act, fighting the bad habits
we have created, or is it more.. We need to go deeper... We are no longer
part of this world.. we are new beings.. spirits... It's a lot to
understand.. and I've never been one to try to understand how
things work.. I usually just read it, accept it, don't think about it being
any more than what it says but that's not really going to help me learn
anything. So I need to find a way to put all of this aside.. the whole enchilada..
and spend some MAJOR time with the spirit so that I can get on level
ground and begin learning HOW TO DO God's good, pleasing perfect will.
